For the past couple of years, Microsoft’s smartphones have been struggling to keep up with Android and Apple devices. Although Microsoft sells their handsets at lower price points and are constantly trying to improve user experience, the Windows Phone just isn’t cutting it in the consumer market.

Apps. We need them for entertainment, organization and for work. In the 21st century, more businesses need more apps to stay ahead of the competition. And as iOS and Android phones continue to dominate the market with popular apps, the lack of services available for Windows phones put Microsoft in a tough spot.

Windows Phone has many useful features that appeal to business users, including the ability to make business presentations easier, increase productivity, and control devices remotely. But with over 600,000 apps in the Windows Phone Store, it can be hard to determine which ones deserve a place on your device.

I love coffee...which is why I love coffee houses.  So I frequent coffee houses all the time.  There never is a time that I'm in a coffee house that it isn't filled with students, writers, on-line shoppers, YouTube aficionados...all ardently conducting  their business on their laptops or tablets.

November is Diabetes Awareness Month; sad to say, this disease has touched my family very deeply.  I watched my grandmother lose her sight, watched my uncle disappear piece by piece.  Now a couple of cousins are suffering through the trials and tribulations of Diabetes BUT...with so many wonderful technological advancements, the suffering is perhaps a little less traumatic.

They’re everywhere: in cars, shopping malls, and restaurants, even at family and professional sporting events.  They are so common place these days, I'm not sure I know anyone who doesn't own one...the "attached at the hip" CELL PHONE!!  Have you noticed, though, how often a wireless phone isn’t being used to actually talk to another person.

Unless you're a hermit, you are out and about every day, sometimes several time a day.  And each time you venture outdoors, whether it's to a meeting, the grocery store, a concert, sporting event, or on vacation, it's an occasion for something to happen to your mobile phone or the information in it.
